Pigeon River Inn

Main issue was the elevator. There is only one elevator. The guests and staff using the same elevator was very time consuming. We were on the 5th floor so carrying all our luggage up the stairs was not an option. Breakfast started at 7 and for us that was too late. The space was small and crowded. The staff closed it down and put all the chairs up on the tables. It was then not pleasant to look at. One employee at the front desk was not friendly and was impatient at our check in. Check out was great, a different man, very helpful and friendly.

Friendly staff, clean hotel and room, the honeymoon suite was wonderful. We enjoyed the fireplace and heart-shaped hot tub.. and watching the sun come up over the river on the private balcony overlooking the mountains with ducks and geese was so nice. We needed this time together as a couple and this hotel made our time just that much better! Location is great with plenty of things to do and only a short drive to Gatlinburg and the mountains. We will definitely be back!!

The location is spot on. There is a light to make a left onto parkway, just use the side road. The pool while small is well taken care. Breakfast is ok and could use additional choices which could include yogurt and other fresh fruit. The room are large and spacious and the water pressure is more than enough. Oh and no bugs!

Our family of five (2 parents, 1 young adult, 1 teen, and 1 child) loved the location and size of the room. A lot of suites we've stayed in at other hotels have felt skinny and cramped, but the layout here was a lot better. We had plenty of room to get around and stretch out without being on top of each other. Staff was friendly and professional. It was very clean and well-kept. It was fairly easy to get in and out from the road, easy to find, with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. We were right near the road, but the noise level wasn't bad at all.

The location was good, the place was very clean. The staff were very friendly!
